Your crystal is not going to fix your life.

And honestly, I think the way crystals are being sold today is becoming a little misleading.

The top 3 crystals to attract love.
Wear this crystal to manifest money.
Keep this under your pillow to heal your anxiety.

Buy this. Wear this. Put this somewhere. And somehow your entire life is supposed to change.

I recently met someone who had bought a whole collection of crystals… and they were all sitting on a shoe rack. And that, to me, says a lot about how we’ve turned spiritual tools into just another thing to consume.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I do believe crystals can be powerful tools. Everything in this world has its own physical properties, and for many people crystals can also hold symbolic, ritualistic, and spiritual significance.

But owning a crystal is not the same thing as having a relationship with it.

And more importantly—what are you doing? Because you can wear every crystal that promises to transform your life, but if you continue thinking the same thoughts, repeating the same patterns, acting from the same fears, wounds and inhibitions…

What exactly do you expect the crystal to change? Our inner world shapes how we perceive, respond to and create our lives. A crystal may be a reminder. A ritual. A tool to support intention and self-reflection.

But it cannot do your inner work for you.

And I think this is what many people selling spiritual products conveniently leave out. Because “do six months of shadow work and examine your attachment patterns” doesn’t sell as easily as

“Buy these 3 crystals to fix your love life.”

And that’s where spirituality starts becoming another marketing machine—one that knows exactly how to sell to your fears, insecurities and emotional vulnerabilities.

So yes. Buy the crystal if it calls to you. But don’t just collect it.

Build a relationship with yourself too.
